KSPHCMB Visits Accident Victims, Approves Support for Injured Staff

The Director General of the Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB), Professor Salisu Ahmad Ibrahim, has sent a delegation to visit staff members who were involved in an accident while returning from official duty.
In a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the Board Sa’adatu Suleiman disclosed that, The delegation was led by the Incident Manager (IM) of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and comprised the Zonal Director, D/Tofa; PHCC Nassarawa LGA; the Deputy State CCO; and the Zonal SSPO, D/Tofa. The team visited the affected staff to assess their condition and convey the sympathy and concern of the Board’s leadership.

During the visit, the delegation delivered the Director General’s message, praising the injured staff for their dedication, commitment, and sacrifice in the discharge of their duties. Professor Salisu Ahmad Ibrahim also wished them a speedy and full recovery.
As part of immediate intervention measures, the Director General approved financial assistance to support the victims’ ongoing medical treatment and care.
The Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare, safety, and wellbeing of its workforce, acknowledging their critical role in strengthening primary healthcare service delivery across Kano State.
