The Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) has commended the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for its ongoing development projects across Kano State, following a one-day inspection tour of key infrastructure sites in the metropolis.
The editors were accompanied by the Kano State Commissioner of Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, as they toured housing schemes, major flyovers, and facilities at Northwest University, gaining first-hand insight into the progress and impact of these initiatives.
The visit formed part of continuing efforts by the state government to keep the media informed on infrastructure and development programs, giving editors the opportunity to independently assess project sites and evaluate their potential benefits for residents and the wider Kano community.
Speaking during the tour, Commissioner Waiya commended the Guild’s leadership for organizing the visit and reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to continued cooperation with the media.
