A member of the Katsina State House of Assembly representing Ingawa Constituency, Hon. Abubakar Suleiman Tunas, has commended Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda for the numerous development projects and interventions executed in Ingawa Local Government Area over the past three years.
Hon. Tunas made the remarks during a thank-you visit by a delegation from Ingawa Local Government Area to Governor Radda at the Government House in Katsina.
Katsina Unveils Five Development Plans, Household Survey
According to the lawmaker, Ingawa has witnessed significant improvements in critical sectors, including the provision of potable water, the upgrading of healthcare facilities, and the rehabilitation and construction of schools, all aimed at improving the quality of life for residents.
He particularly praised the Governor for the reconstruction of the Shargalle–Ingawa Road, which had remained in a deplorable condition for many years.
“The reconstruction of the road has greatly improved transportation, eased the movement of vehicles, and significantly reduced road accidents along the route,” Hon. Tunas said.
He explained that the visit was to express the appreciation of the people of Ingawa for the Governor’s commitment to the development of the area and reaffirmed their support for his re-election bid in 2027.
Earlier, the Chairman of APC Stakeholders in Ingawa Local Government, Mustapha Kanti Bello, assured Governor Radda of overwhelming support from the people of Ingawa during the 2027 general elections.
“We will continue to mobilize our people to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ingawa will massively support Governor Dikko Umaru Radda and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to ensure continuity, stability, and progress for Katsina State and Nigeria,” he stated.
In his response, Governor Radda thanked the delegation for the visit and assured the people of Ingawa of his administration’s continued commitment to addressing their developmental needs.
The Governor emphasized that his administration would never take the support of the people for granted, stressing that government has a responsibility to support communities that contribute meaningfully to the state’s development agenda.
Governor Radda further noted that the political history of Katsina State would be incomplete without acknowledging the important role played by the people of Ingawa.
He explained that the various government interventions in the area were based on the genuine needs and aspirations of the people, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to equitable development across the state.
The Governor also commended the stakeholders for maintaining unity and urged them to sustain the spirit of cooperation in pursuit of greater development and shared prosperity for Ingawa and Katsina State.
