Gov. Abba Hails Tinubu, NWDC Over Regional Development Projects

The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has commended the Federal Government for the ongoing interventions and development projects being executed by the North West Development Commission across Kano and other states in the Northwest region.
Governor Yusuf specifically appreciated the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for establishing and supporting the Commission to address developmental challenges in the region.

This was contained in a statement issued on Saturday by Mustapha Muhammad, Chief Press Secretary to the Kano State Governor.
The Governor made the remarks while receiving the Minister of State for Regional Development, Uba Maigari Ahmad, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Kano.
Governor Yusuf noted that the interventions of the Commission are already impacting positively on the lives of people across the Northwest region.
“We have seen several developments and interventions in the region, and we must appreciate Mr President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for these laudable initiatives,” the Governor stated.
Earlier, the Minister of State for Regional Development, Alhaji Uba Maigari Ahmad, expressed appreciation to the Kano State Government for its continuous support and contributions towards the success of the Commission.
He particularly acknowledged the allocation of two hectares of land by the Kano State Government for the permanent site of the Commission, as well as the donation of vehicles to support its operations.
The Minister assured the Governor that the Commission would continue to collaborate closely with the Kano State Government to ensure that interventions reach the intended beneficiaries across the region.
“You have supported us immensely in many ways too numerous to mention,” the Minister said.
