He emphasized that the anniversary is both a moment of reflection and a celebration of the institution’s enduring contributions to Islamic and legal education.

The day began with Qur’anic recitation, followed by the Jurisprudence Day program—the first major event in the anniversary lineup. Distinguished Islamic scholars, including Prof. Umar Sani Fagge, delivered lectures on contemporary issues in Islamic jurisprudence. Other notable presenters included Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, Sheikh Abdullah Uwais Madabo, and Dr. Umar Muhammad Kani, with active participation from students and academics.

In the evening, the college hosted a security summit themed “Addressing Security Challenges in Kano Metropolis,” bringing together intellectuals, security experts, and personnel to present actionable strategies for tackling the state’s security issues.

The anniversary continues tomorrow with Conference Day, leading to the grand finale on Wednesday. Expected dignitaries include Kano State Executive Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Emir of Kano, and other distinguished national figures.
