Education has been described as a crucial tool for every societal development.
This was disclosed by the Chairman of Dambatta Local Government Council, Alhaji Jamilu Abdullahi Dambatta, while receiving teaching materials and three-seater desks donated by the State Universal Basic Education Board at the local government secretariat.
Honourable Jamilu Abdullahi Dambatta, who reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing quality education for rural communities, stated that he will align with the vision of Governor Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf in boosting the education sector. He further stressed that, being a teacher himself, he always spares his time to personally supervise schools in the area to ensure quality standards.
He urged teachers and parents in Dambatta to utilize the distributed materials effectively to enhance teaching and learning in the region.
In his remarks The Acting Education Secretary, Alhaji Auwalu Abdulhamid, commended the State government’s prioritization of education, noting that significant funds have been allocated for education in the 2025 fiscal year under Governor Yusuf’s administration.
