The Wazobia Conflict Resolution and Peace Advocacy Initiative (WACORPAI) has appointed Majidadin Sarkin Shanun Kano, Ambassador Comrade Isma’ila Anmai Maizare as its new Director in charge of NGO Affairs.
The appointment was formalized in a letter signed by Rt. Comrade Ambassador Garba Suleiman Marafa, National President and Convener of WACORPAI.

In the letter, Amb. Marafa highlighted Comrade Maizare’s exceptional track record of achievements, selfless service to humanity, and professional competence as key factors in his selection. He also commended Comrade Maizare’s significant contributions to social, economic, religious, and political development at both national and international levels.
Amb. Marafa expressed confidence that Comrade Isma’il Ammai Maizare vast experience, exemplary leadership qualities, and extensive knowledge will play a pivotal role in elevating WACORPAI’s profile, earning it greater recognition both nationally and internationally.
“We are confident that Comrade Mai zare’s appointment will bring renewed energy and vision to our organization,” said Amb. Marafa. “His dedication and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of our mission to promote peace, conflict resolution, and advocacy.”
