As the current Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure continues to make a positive impact on the lives of Nigerians. Her dedication to her work and her community is a shining example of leadership and public service.
She has demonstrated her commitment to empowering women and supporting her community through various initiatives, including distributing wrappers and cash to Kano State APC women leaders and meeting with women party officials to thank them for their dedication and loyalty.
During her visit to Kano State recently, Honourable Minister, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure also met with 132 women party officials from the State, thanking them for their dedication and loyalty to the party. She encouraged them to remain patient and prayerful, as His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has plans to benefit all Nigerians through his Renewed Hope Initiative.
The Renewed Hope Initiative is a comprehensive plan aimed at transforming Nigeria’s economy, security, and governance. The plan focuses on job creation, economic growth, food security, poverty eradication, access to capital, improving security of life and property, rule of law, and fight against corruption.
Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure’s leadership style is compassionate and focused on the welfare of women and her community. Her commitment to public service, women empowerment, community development, and educational advancement is truly inspiring.
She has shared wrappers and a cash gift of N3,000,000 to women, as well as additional cash gifts to social media enthusiasts and other groups.
Before becoming the Minister of State for FCTA, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure served as a commissioner for higher education in Kano State, where she played a key role in shaping the state’s education policy. Her experience in this role has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact in her current position.
