In a landmark move to bolster healthcare delivery services, the Rano Emirate Council has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the health and well-being of its people. The announcement was made by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru, during a solidarity visit by officials of the Rano Health Development Association at his palace.

The Emir emphasized that the Emirate Council will prioritize addressing challenges faced by rural clinics, including the provision of qualified medical personnel. He highlighted that healthcare delivery remains a top priority for the state government under Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, and the Emirate Council will continue to align with this vision by encouraging health workers to remain dedicated to their duties.

“Healthcare is a cornerstone of development, and we will do everything within our power to ensure that our people have access to quality medical services,” said Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru. He further pledged to explore opportunities to integrate voluntary health workers into the state civil service, ensuring their contributions are formally recognized and supported.

The Emir also assured the association that his doors remain open to constructive feedback and advice, underscoring his commitment to collaborative efforts for the betterment of the community.
