Kano State Hospitals Management Board Clarifies Service Payment Policy at Muhammad Abdullah Wase Teaching Hospital

The Management of the Kano State Hospitals Management Board today issued a clarification regarding service charges at the Muhammad Abdullah Wase Teaching Hospital (Nasarawa Hospital).

In a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the Board Samira Sulaiman disclosed that, The Board wishes to inform the general public that, as a tertiary healthcare institution, all services provided at the facility are subject to payment. This includes comprehensive care for normal deliveries and cesarean sections. Patients are therefore advised to make the necessary financial arrangements prior to accessing services to ensure a seamless healthcare experience.

This clarification addresses public inquiries and emphasizes the hospital’s standard operational policy.

Furthermore, the Management has confirmed the authenticity of all official payment receipts issued by the hospital. It strongly refutes any unfounded claims of systemic sabotage, reaffirming the integrity of its financial and administrative systems.

The Board also took the opportunity to commend His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his unwavering commitment and support in enhancing healthcare infrastructure and services across the state. This commitment remains a driving force behind the Board’s mission.
