NAWOJ Kano Chapter Chairperson Calls for Unity and Support Among Women Journalists

The Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Kano State Chapter, Hajiya Bahijja Malam Kabara, has called on all women journalists in the state to rally behind NAWOJ to foster the growth and development of female media professionals.
In a statement signed by the State Secretary of NAWOJ Comrade Maryam Muhammad Yakasai Stated that, Comrade Bahijja Kabara made the appeal during the continuation of NAWOJ’s media tour to Radio Nasara and Ammasco Radio.
She emphasized the crucial role of young women journalists in ensuring the smooth operation and sustainability of the association.
During the visit, key female media leaders, including Team Women Leader of Radio Nasara, Aisha Idris, and Ammasco Radio’s Malama Rabi, pledged their full support and cooperation to NAWOJ’s initiatives for the advancement of women in journalism.
The Chairperson expressed optimism that such collaborations would yield positive outcomes for women journalists in Kano State and beyond.
