This was disclosed by the Ama Hausa, (Sarkin Hausawan Owerr) Alhaji Auwal Baba Said Sulaiman in his residents Ama Hausa Quarters, Owerri,Imo State while felicitating with the newly elected President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya which was held in Owerri the Capital of Imo State just recently
Alhaji Auwal Baba, said media remain the gateway for creating awareness, shaping and moulding the behavioral perspective of the general publics as such society hold them with high esteem and value, in a congratulatory message send to the newly elected executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists
He urged the newly elected executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists to be steadfast and upheld the ethical considerations of Journalism in the nation, stating that “we Nigerians remain solely on media for daily information on all matters related to socioeconomic and political developments.
The Ama Hausa then commended the Governor of Imo State Senator Hope Uzodimma for the support rendered during the Delegates Conference.
While commenting, the Special Adviser to the Governor Senator Hope Uzodimma on Northern Affairs,Hon. Sulaiman Ibrahim Sulaiman commended the Journalists for conducting the election peacefully and assured them that Imo State Governor and the people of Imo State are highly delighted for choosing the State for the Conference.
Hon Sulaiman Ibrahim Sulaiman, similarly thump up the Practicing Journalists for the high rate of maturity displayed during the conference.
The Special Adviser, further stressed that the Governor of Imo State accorded all residents of the State high premium for a peaceful conduct of their legitimate businesses.
