KSPWB CALL FOR EARLY PAYMENT OF HAJJ DEPOSIT

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has called on all intending pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj to make their deposits early, in order to ensure smooth and timely arrangements for the pilgrimage.
This call was made by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, during a strategic engagement meeting with Juma’at Mosque Imams held today at the Tourist Camp Conference Hall in Kano.

Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u emphasized the importance of early preparations in line with directives from the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Saudi authorities. He noted that the early deposit of ₦8,244,813.67 per pilgrim would enable the Board to effectively coordinate logistics, accommodation, and travel arrangements.
Also speaking at the event, the NAHCON Zonal Coordinator for Kano Zone, Alhaji Umar Muhammad Kalgo, highlighted that Kano State continues to outperform many other states in terms of the number of registered pilgrims. He attributed this success to the state’s proactive planning and robust sensitization efforts.

Earlier in the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, stressed the importance of timely measures and proactive strategies in managing Hajj operations. He encouraged religious leaders to help mobilize and enlighten their congregations on the importance of early registration and payment.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board remains committed to ensuring a successful Hajj operation and calls on all intending pilgrims to take advantage of the current window for deposit payments.
