The Kano State Civil Service Commission has approved the promotion of senior officers across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the state civil service.
This was announced by the Chairperson of the Commission, Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko, during the Commission’s maiden sitting on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, held at its conference room.
During the session, the Commission reviewed and approved 44 cases of transfer of service, 25 cases of change of cadre, and addressed two disciplinary cases.
Hajiya Ladidi urged the beneficiaries to justify the government’s confidence by enhancing productivity and demonstrating a high sense of responsibility in their duties. She emphasized that their dedication would contribute to a more efficient and result-oriented civil service in Kano State.
She also emphasized that the Kano State Civil Service Commission remains committed to fostering professionalism, discipline, and excellence within the state’s workforce.
In their separate remarks, Permanent Commissioners I and II, Alhaji Abdullahi Mahmud and Alhaji Ado Muhammad Danbatta, advised all civil servants, particularly those in the Commission, to adhere strictly to service rules and uphold confidentiality in handling official matters.
