KPCACC, KNUPDA Strengthen Partnership for Better Service Delivery

The Managing Director of the Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KNUPDA), Arc. Hauwa Hassan Tudun-Wada, has reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (KPCACC) to promote transparency, accountability, and improved service delivery in the state.
In a statement signed by Bahijja Kabara Public Relations officer of the Agency stressed that, Arc. Hauwa Hassan made this known while receiving the Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Sa’id Yahya Sa’id, and his team during a courtesy visit to KNUPDA headquarters. She commended the Commission’s efforts in projecting the administration’s commitment to due process and addressing public concerns, noting that its work has significantly strengthened confidence in the system.

She described Alhaji Sa’id Yahya as a dedicated and responsible public servant whose leadership has further reinforced the state’s anti-corruption drive. She also lauded Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing a person of high integrity to lead the Commission, describing the choice as timely and beneficial to the state’s development goals.
Arc. Hauwa Tudun-Wada assured the Commission of KNUPDA’s readiness to comply with all lawful directives and emphasized the importance of joint efforts in enhancing urban planning and management across Kano State.

In his remarks, the Chairman of KPCACC said the visit was aimed at addressing public complaints related to urban development. He stressed the need for both institutions to work as partners in progress to ensure best practices and strengthen public trust. He also disclosed plans to organize a workshop to enhance synergy and improve service delivery between the two bodies.
Also speaking, the Director of Personnel Management at KNUPDA, Alhaji Salihi Yusuf Ibrahim, proposed the formation of a joint committee comprising staff of both KNUPDA and KPCACC to facilitate quicker and more efficient resolution of public complaints.
