Kano State Government expressed its commitment towards boosting the welfare of all staff of the Ministry of Justice in order to enhance their productivity.
The Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General Barrister Haruna Isa Dederi made the statement in a meeting held with all state counsels in the conference room of the ministry adding that welfare of the state lawyers and all other staff must be prioritised in order to yield positive result in the discharge of their duties especially in courts proceedings.

Barrister Haruna Dederi who lamented on the poor condition of the ministry assured of his readiness to address the problem urgently adding that adequate working materials would be provided in order for the staff to have a conducive atmosphere for work.
He also said that for lawyers to perform very well, there is need for them to be trained and retrained continously and this will be one of his priorities in the process of boosting their performance.
The Attorney General also called for mutual understanding and cooperation between the staff and urged them to be up and doing in the discharge of their responsibilities for them to be providing positive result to the government in terms of cases that are before courts.
He expressed satisfaction with the effort of the ministry’s despatch riders as a result of which he gave them two new brand motorcycles for the smooth conduct of their duty.
In her remarks earlier, the Solicitor General who is also the Permanent Secretary of the ministry Hajiya Amina Yusuf ‘Yargaya assured the Attorney General of the staff full cooperation and commitment toward discharging their primary assignments diligently.
