The State Commissioner for Tourism and Culture Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko has reaffirmed Kano State Government commitment in involving the leadership of different ethic groups residing in Kano for the revival of Tourism and Culture.
The Commissioner disclosed this during a courtesy visit to the traditional rulers of Yoruba and Igbo Communities residing in the State.
Hajiya Ladidi during the visit explained that, the ambition of the present administration under the leadership of the Executive Governor of Kano State Abba Kabir Yusuf is to provide an enabling environment to all tribes and came together under one umbrella inorder to share common value and Culture.
She therefore solicited the support and Cooperation of the traditional rulers to support the effort of the present administration in it’s effort toward the revival of Tourism and Culture especially with the approach of the,one hundred Days in office of the present administration so as to pursued our unity and Cultural integration during the celebration.
In their separate remarks, Chief Brenda MBA Onowu, Elder Chief Akhagbe Sarkin EDO, His Royal Majesty I.O Akoudo and Kabesi Murtala Alamin Usheshe both Commended the Commissioner for the visit which according to them it was the first of it’s kind that a Commissioner paid a visit to the leadership of the traditional rulers.
They assured the Commissioner that, they will provide all the necessary support and cooperation to the present administration efforts in Reviving the lost glory of Tourism and Culture in the State.
