Karaye Emirate Council Has Hailed the Kano State Government for the Resumption of foreign and Local Scholarship for the indigenous students.
The traditional Council made the remarks at its meeting presided over by His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II, today at the Council’s Chamber.
According to a Statement by the Emirate Council Spoke person Haruna Gunduwawa Stated that, The move  is a welcome development which will pave way for the talented children of lower class people to acquire sound and qualitative education like those of higher class counterparts. Â
Durring the meeting, the council emphasized the establishment of “Karaye Emirate Foundation” aimed at assisting people especially Orphans, Widows and other less privilege on Health, Skills Accusation among others.
The Council also approved for carrying out of third phase of free Eyes Care to one thousand people with eyes problems to be drawn from the eight Districts of the Emirate.
On Eid El Kabir festivaties, the Council said, as usual the Emir Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II will observe at Karaye central Eid El ground by nine o’clock in the morning while the rest of the traditional festivities of Bawan Kutufi and ƘeÆ™asa would be performed on Thursday and Friday respectively.Â
The council while wishing peaceful Sallah celebration also called on the general public to come forward to witness the historical events.
