KANO STATE OVERNOR APPOINTS EMIR OF KARAYE AS HEAD OF HAJJ DELEGATION COMMITTEE
In a bid to streamline and enhance the coordination of activities for Kano State pilgrims in Saudi Arabia, the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has appointed His Royal Highness, the Emir of Karaye, Alhaji Dr. Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, as the Head of the 2025 Hajj Delegation Committee.
The Committee will serve as the Central Coordination Body, tasked with overseeing all pilgrimage-related activities in Saudi Arabia until the conclusion of the Hajj exercise. Its primary mandate is to ensure the effective organization, coordination, and welfare of Kano State pilgrims.
Members of the Committee are, His Royal Highness Alhaji Dr. Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, Head of Hajj Delegation Committee, Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji Member, House of Assembly (Kano Municipal) Member, Sheikh Tijjani Auwal, Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Member, Sheikh Tijjani Bala Kalarawi Member, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa Hisbah Commandant, Member, Sheikh Dr. Bashir Aliyu Umar Member, Dr. Al-Fatihi Karbulla, Member Alhaji Yusuf Lawan Member, Sheikh Isma’il Ilyasu Mangu Member, Sheikh Tijjani Sani Maihula Member, Alhaji Abdullahi Kabir Yusuf Member, Hajiya Aisha Munnir Matawalle Member, Sheikh Basheer Arabi Member, while Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa is to serve as Secretary / Member of the Committee.
While members of the Secretariat and Reportorial includes, Alhaji Yusuf Aliyu Muktar, Alhaji Muhammad Ghali Muhammad, Alhaji Umar Yakubu Kabara, Alhaji Murtala Lawan Sani, Hajiya Kubura Ibrahim Dankani, Hajiya Batulu Isa Waziri, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammad Indabawa and Alhaji Hussani Abdul Inuwa.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf urged the committee members to carry out their responsibilities with dedication, diligence, and a strong sense of duty. He prayed for Almighty Allah’s guidance as they embark on this noble assignment.
