Kano State Government Commends Rimin Gado LGA for Outstanding Support in April 2025 NIPDs Exercise
**Kano, Nigeria** – The Executive Supervision Team A of the April 2025 National Immunization Plus Days (NIPDs), led by Dr. Nasir Muhammad Mahmud, Director General of the Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board (KSPHCMB), has highly commended the Rimin Gado Local Government Council for its exceptional support and collaboration in ensuring the success of polio and routine immunization activities in the area.
During an official supervisory visit to the Rimin Gado LGA Secretariat, Dr. Nasir met with the Council Chairman, Hon. Muhammad Sani Salisu Jili, and praised the administration’s dedication to improving healthcare services.
“We deeply appreciate the unwavering support provided by your administration in strengthening healthcare delivery at all times. We urge you to sustain this commendable effort,” said Dr. Nasir.
The Director General reaffirmed the Kano State Government’s commitment to enhancing public health, disclosing that approvals have been granted for the renovation and construction of multiple health facilities across the state. He called on citizens to support government policies and programs to ensure sustainable development.
In response, Hon. Muhammad Sani Salisu Jili, Chairman of Rimin Gado LGA, thanked the KSPHCMB delegation for the visit and reiterated the council’s dedication to investing in healthcare. He emphasized that the welfare of residents remains a top priority.
As part of the supervisory tour, Dr. Nasir also visited Minjibir, Gwale, and Tofa LGAs, where he expressed satisfaction with the level of preparedness for the NIPDs exercise.
