Kano I.O. Forum Lauds Governor Yusuf’s Education-Focused Alpha Budget

The Kano State Information Officers Forum has applauded the Kano State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, for presenting the largest “Alpha Budget” in the history of Northern Nigeria, an unprecedented budget estimate exceeding One Trillion Naira.
The Forum expressed profound appreciation for the 2026 budget’s strong emphasis on education, healthcare, and infrastructural development, describing these sectors as critical to improving the welfare and overall quality of life of the people of Kano State.
In the same vein, the Forum commended the Governor for his continuous investment in human capital development.
It particularly acknowledged the recent release of the second batch of Kano State indigenes awarded foreign scholarships, describing the gesture as a courageous and visionary step toward expanding knowledge and empowering young people, who remain the backbone of societal progress.
In a statement Signed by the Forum Secretary Sharif Zahraddeen Usman on behalf of the Forum Chairman Comrade Jamilu Mustapha Yakasai called on the good people of Kano State to continue praying for the success of the state leadership and to support the ongoing developmental initiatives aimed at advancing the state to greater heights.
