Kano Deputy Governor Bids Farewell to Retiring Public Relations Chief and Store Officer in Grand Sendoff Ceremony

The Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has honored the retiring Chief Public Relations Officer of the Ministry for Higher Education, Sunusi Abdullahi Kofar Na’isa, and Store Officer Zubairu Idris, in a heartfelt sendoff ceremony celebrating their distinguished careers.
Representing the Deputy Governor, who also serves as the Commissioner for Higher Education, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Hadi Bala Yahaya, mni, praised the retirees for their unwavering dedication and exceptional service. He described Kofar Na’isa as a paragon of professionalism, whose strategic communication skills significantly elevated the ministry’s public image.
“Sunusi Kofar Na’isa’s passion and commitment to excellence set a benchmark for professionalism in public service,” Dr. Hadi remarked. “His departure leaves a void that will be deeply felt.”
Similarly, Zubairu Idris was commended for his meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills, which ensured seamless operations in the ministry’s store and logistics management.
The ceremony was graced by directors and colleagues who shared fond memories and celebrated the retirees’ legacies. Director of Administration and General Services, Alhaji Shehu Sani Shehu; Director of Quality Assurance, Alhaji Nura Abba Dandago; and Director of Special Assignments, Dr. Nazir Datti Yasayyadi, all lauded the retirees for their hard work and lasting contributions.
In their emotional farewell speeches, Kofar Na’isa and Idris expressed deep gratitude to the ministry and their colleagues for the support and opportunities afforded them throughout their careers.
