Honorable Jamilu Abubakar Danbatta, the newly elected Chairman of Danbatta Local Government, has expressed his dedication to prioritizing the welfare of the local community above personal interests. During an address to newly elected councillors from ten wards, his vice, and other stakeholders, he underscored the importance of adhering to the local government’s code of conduct.
The Chairman outlined his primary focus areas, which include:
1. Healthcare for All: Hon. Jamilu committed to providing accessible health services for all residents of Danbatta Local Government.
2. Educational Development: He highlighted his administration’s commitment to enhancing education by supplying quality teaching materials to all schools in the area. He encouraged teachers to set aside political interests and work together to nurture future generations.
3. Punctuality in Public Service: The Chairman called on all local government staff to be punctual and diligent in performing their duties to ensure effective governance.
4. Agricultural Support: Hon. Jamilu assured local farmers that his administration would focus on agricultural development. He pledged to provide seeds and other resources to support irrigational farming.
5. Women’s Empowerment: The Chairman promised to continue policies aimed at empowering women by providing financial support of fifty thousand naira each to help them become self-reliant through small-scale trading.
Hon. Jamilu Abubakar Danbatta urged the people of Danbatta to extend their full cooperation to his administration to achieve these shared goals for the betterment of the community.
