Member House of Representatives for Bagwai/Shanono Constituency Hon. Yusuf Ahmad Badau has introduced monthly allowances for APC party executives and other principal officers at local and ward level in Bagwai and Shanono Local Government areas.
Hon. Yusuf Ahmad Badau announced this at the flag-off of the initiative held yesterday in Bagwai Town.
The member represented by his coordinator Alhaji Mahmoud Isah said the initiative was meant to alleviate the current hardship being experienced by Nigerians.
Under the initiative, 74 local government executives comprising party chairmen, secretaries and ex-officio will be receiving an allowance of N50,000.00 monthly while their ward level counterparts will be receiving N10,000.00 each.
He therefore urged beneficiaries to make the best use of the opportunity in taking care of other APC members at the grassroot.
Hon. Yusuf Ahmad Badau pledged to initiate more ways and means to carry all APC members along.
The legislator then announced the appointment of 14 additional aids to facilitate activities at his constituency comprising Bagwai and Shanono Local Government Areas.
