Governor Radda Appoints Salisu Mamman as Member of Katsina State Council of Emirs

Katsina State Governor, Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, has approved the appointment of Salisu Mamman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Continental Computers, as a member of the Katsina State Council of Emirs, representing the business community.

The appointment was officially announced in a statement issued by Aminu Tukur, the Permanent Secretary, Security and Cabinet Department, Office of the Secretary to the State Government. According to the statement, the appointment takes immediate effect.

Governor Radda’s decision is in line with Section 5 (1) of the Katsina State Emirate Council Law 2025, which provides for broad-based representation within the council. The inclusion of Mr. Mamman is a reflection of the state government’s commitment to inclusive governance and the recognition of the private sector’s vital role in the socio-economic development of Katsina State.
The statement further conveyed the government’s congratulations to Salisu Mamman and extended prayers for Allah’s guidance and wisdom as he undertakes his new responsibilities within the council.
