Gezawa Local Government Flags Off 4.5km Gunduwawa–Tammawa Road Project to Boost Economic Growth

In a significant move to enhance infrastructure and stimulate economic activities, the Gezawa Local Government has officially commissioned the construction of a 4.5-kilometer road linking Gunduwawa to Tammawa, a high-traffic residential and commercial zone.
The project was inaugurated today by the Chairman of Gezawa Local Government, Alhaji Mukaddas Bala Jogana, who emphasized that the initiative aligns with the government’s broader agenda to improve citizens’ welfare and drive socioeconomic progress.

“The Gunduwawa–Tammawa road is a critical artery for thousands of residents who rely on it daily for business and transportation,” stated Alhaji Mukaddas during the ceremony. “This project, approved by the Kano State Government, reflects our commitment to delivering impactful development to our people.”
The Chairman urged community members to support the contractors to ensure timely and seamless execution. He also reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to rolling out more people-centered projects in the near future, thanking Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the state government’s unwavering support.

Key stakeholders, including the Local Government Secretary, Alhaji Garba Saleh, the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board, Alhaji Musa Gambo Danzaki, and local councilors, lauded the project’s commencement, highlighting its potential to transform the area.
Residents, such as Malam Abdullahi Gunduwawa and Malam Sani Ya’u, expressed gratitude to the government and pledged to oversee the construction to ensure high-quality delivery.
