Forum of Local Government Information Officers Condoles Kano State Government, Assembly Leadership Over Demise of Two Lawmakers.
The Forum of Local Government Information Officers, Kano State, under the leadership of its Chairman, Comrade Sharif Zaharadden Usman Kofar Nasarawa, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of two distinguished members of the Kano State House of Assembly representing Ungogo and Kano Municipal constituencies.
The Forum described the demise of the lawmakers as a painful loss not only to their immediate families and constituencies but also to the entire Kano State, noting that the late legislators were committed representatives who served with dedication and integrity.
In a condolence message, the Forum sympathized with the Executive Governor of Kano State, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, as well as the Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, the leadership and members of the House over the tragic loss.
The Forum acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the deceased lawmakers to legislative development, grassroots governance, and democratic consolidation in Kano State.
The Forum prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT) grants the departed souls eternal rest in Aljannatul Firdaus and gives their families, colleagues, and the people of Kano State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
