.Engr. Musa Abdullahi Declares Interest to Contest for Katsina State APC Chairman
..Outlines His Vision and Mission If Elected

An astute politician in Katsina, Engineer Musa Abdullahi Funtua, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Katsina State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He made the declaration on Thursday during a special gathering he organized with friends and political associates in Katsina where he formally announced his ambition.
While unveiling his plans, Engr. Musa Funtua said his main reason for contesting is to bring change to the way politics is practiced in the state, with the aim of driving reforms that will foster community development.

He stressed that involving youth, professionals, and experts in politics is a critical step towards reforming party systems and political leadership for the betterment of society.
“In everything I do, I always think about how I can contribute to improving lives and advancing the society,” he said.
Engr. Musa added that he was motivated to declare his interest after observing and being inspired by the inclusive leadership style of Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda. He revealed that during the 2023 campaign period, he accompanied the Governor to all 361 wards across the state and is impressed with how the Governor has already fulfilled most of his campaign promises.

He said Governor Radda’s performance has encouraged him to contest for the APC chairmanship to support the Governor’s development agenda by strengthening the party, which serves as the main vehicle for delivering responsible leadership to the people.
He assured that if elected, he would bring meaningful reforms to the party in a shortest time.
“The political party is the first platform through which we can present capable and visionary candidates to the people. We will work tirelessly to ensure that the people have confidence that whenever APC wins, it is a victory for the people because they have elected competent candidates,” he said.
The chairmanship aspirant urged youth, especially professionals and educated individuals from various sectors, to venture into politics in order to contribute to the development of the society. According to him, their involvement is key to transforming the system for good.
He pledged to unite all members of the party and engage key political stakeholders across the state to eliminate opposition and strengthen the APC’s chances of success in Katsina State and Nigeria as a whole.
The event attracted several friends and well wishers, party faithfuls, professionals, and stakeholders from across the state. Among those in attendance were Prof. Yahaya Zayyana, Prof. Nuraddeen Abubakar, Dr. Aminu Umar, Dr. Nasiru Rabiu Dayi, Alhaji Abdulbaki Dodo, Alhaji Kabir Umar, Alhaji Nura, Dr. Muhammad Sani Lugga, Dr. Abdulkadir Dayi, Engr. Shamsuddeen Iron Baba, Alhaji Hussaini Duguru, Hon. Mansir Kabir, Alhaji Rabe Saulawa, Alhaji Abdulkarim Rafin Dadi, Alhaji Sunusi Musa Kankiya, among others.
The declaration marks the formal entry of Engr. Musa Abdullahi into the race for the APC chairmanship position in Katsina State, ahead of the party’s internal electoral process.
