Defence Minister Badaru Abubakar Commiserates with Katsina Governor Over Mother’s Demise
The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, today visited Katsina State to condole with the Executive Governor, Mallam Umar Dikko Umaru Radda, following the passing of his mother, Hajiya Safara’u Umar Bare-Bari Radda.
During the visit to the Government House, Katsina, the Minister conveyed deep sympathies on behalf of himself, his family, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, and the entire Ministry of Defence. He described the loss as irreparable and extended prayers for the deceased, urging Almighty Allah to grant her mercy, forgiveness, and eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus..
Minister Badaru also prayed for divine strength and comfort for Governor Radda, his family, and the people of Katsina State during this period of grief.
Accompanying the Minister were former Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Idris Garba Jahun, as well as lawmakers representing Hadejia and Babura constituencies, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Jallo and Hon. Mas’ud A. Naruwa.
The visit underscored the solidarity of the Federal Government and the defence sector with the Governor and Katsina State in their moment of sorrow.
