Dan’Amu Commends Kano APC, Calls for Unity Ahead of Polls

The Executive Secretary of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), Alhaji Dr. Aminu Dan’Amu, has lauded the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State for their resilience and commitment to repositioning the party for greater success.
The commendation was contained in a press statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity, Aminu Dan’Amu Organization, Dr. Abdulkadir Ahmad Jogana. Dr. Dan’Amu noted that recent political developments in Kano, including the reported defection of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), reflect the APC’s renewed strength and growing acceptance across the state.

He praised key party leaders for their roles in stabilising and strengthening the APC, including former National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje; Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin; Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar Bichi; Senator Abdurrahman Kawu Sumaila; Kano APC Chairman, Prince Abdullahi Abbas; Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna; and Hon. Murtala Sule Garo. He also acknowledged the contributions of party elders and women leaders statewide.

A former Commissioner of Finance, Dr. Dan’Amu urged APC stakeholders to set aside personal differences and close ranks in the collective interest of the party as preparations intensify for the 2027 general elections.
According to him, Kano’s political advantage—spanning 44 local government areas, 484 wards, and 11,222 polling units—positions the APC to deliver over two million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, provided unity is sustained. He further assured that the Aminu Dan’Amu Organization would deepen grassroots mobilisation and collaborate with party structures across the state to boost the APC’s electoral fortunes ahead of 2027
