Dambatta Council Mobilizes Councillors, Appointees for Polio Immunization Exercise

The Dambatta Local Government Council has mandated all elected councillors and political appointees to actively participate in the upcoming polio immunization exercise as part of efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and protect children from preventable diseases.
In a statement signed by Tasiu Jibo Dawanau Zonal Information officer disclosed that, The Council Chairman, Alhaji Jamilu Abubakar, issued the directive during a taskforce meeting held in his office to review preparations for the exercise. He emphasized the need for stakeholders to ensure maximum parental cooperation and commitment toward immunizing eligible children for a healthier community.

Alhaji Jamilu also urged team supervisors to diligently carry out their assigned duties to ensure a smooth and successful exercise. He commended the District Head of Dambatta, Dr. Mansur Mukhtar, alongside other traditional leaders, for their continued support and contributions to previous immunization rounds.
Speaking at the meeting, the Primary Health Care Coordinator, Danjuma Abdulhamid, reiterated that the exercise is part of ongoing efforts to safeguard children against childhood killer diseases.

Representing the District Head, Alhaji Baba Ado Mukhtar appealed to traditional leaders to sustain their dedication as the council works towards achieving another successful immunization campaign.
