CSC APPROVES PROMOTION OF 823 STAFF IN THE KANO STATE CIVIL SERVICE
In line with its commitment to rewarding hard work, dedication, and efficiency in the state’s civil service, Kano State Civil Service Commission has approved the promotion of 823 civil servants in the months of January, February and March 2025.
522 civil servants were promoted to various levels in January, 207 in February and 52 in March 2025, respectively. Also, 27,15 and 6 change of cadres were treated in January, February and March, respectively.

Furthermore, the commission have also treated and issued notifications of 4,488 Retirement, 904 Deployment and 24 cases of Confirmation of Appointment
Also during the sitting, one Disciplinary case was presented and duly addressed by the commission, underscoring the commitment to upholding discipline and professionalism within the state’s workforce
The Chairperson, Hajiya Ladidi Ibrahim Garko, during the 25th commission’s 3rd sitting on Wednesday march 26th, said that the Commission remains dedicated to fostering a motivated and result-driven workforce by ensuring that promotions and cadre conversations are conducted in a timely and transparent manner, in accordance with service rules and regulation
Ladidi Garko added that, the Civil Service Commission will continue to prioritize the welfare and career advancement of civil servants, ensuring that merit, dedication, and performance remain the guiding principles in all personnel-related matter
