APC Chieftain
From Mu’awuya Bala Idris Katsina
Abdulaziz Maituraka, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Katsina State, has expressed unwavering confidence that the party will secure a decisive victory in the 2027 general elections at both the federal and state levels.
Maituraka made the declaration during a reception held in his honor by various political associations, celebrating his recent appointment as Senior Special Assistant on Mobilization to Katsina State Governor, Dikko Umaru Radda.
Addressing the gathering, Maituraka asserted that no candidate from any opposition party can defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, describing the APC as a formidable and nationally accepted party with a strong presence in all 774 local government areas of Nigeria.
“We are confident that APC will win at the federal level and in all states,” Maituraka said. He dismissed the emerging African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, stating, “APC is unshaken by the emergence of the ADC as a political party. The ADC was formed by frustrated politicians; the party is not recognized nationally and we believe it will collapse after the 2027 elections.”
The chieftain, who also serves as a Special Assistant to the Deputy Senate President, called on all Nigerians to remain patient and continue supporting the administration of President Tinubu. He assured the public that the ongoing reforms are strategically designed to address inherited national problems.

Maituraka also commended Governor Dikko Radda for his transformative efforts across the state, highlighting significant progress in road construction, the renovation and upgrading of hospitals, provision of water, and tackling unemployment.
Earlier in the event, the Chairman of the APC in Katsina Local Government Area, Mustapha Musa Kofar Bai, congratulated Maituraka on his new role, describing the appointment as well-deserved. He praised Maituraka for his significant contributions to the party and his consistent humanitarian assistance to youth, orphans, and less privileged persons in the community.
