Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has commended the Tinubu-Shettima Solidarity Group for establishing a comprehensive grassroots mobilisation structure across the state in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
Governor Radda gave the commendation while receiving members of the group on a solidarity visit to the Government House, Katsina, where they presented their mobilisation framework and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Masari Urges APC Members to Intensify Grassroots Mobilisation Ahead of 2027
The Governor described the working relationship between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima as a demonstration of loyalty, unity and commitment to national development.
He noted that the APC remains the platform through which its candidates seek the mandate of the electorate, urging members of the group to support all party candidates at every level during the forthcoming elections.
Governor Radda expressed confidence that continued unity within the party would consolidate ongoing development initiatives and strengthen the APC’s electoral prospects across Katsina State.
He further praised the group’s leadership for developing a structured database and grassroots mobilisation network, describing it as an effective mechanism for engaging party supporters and improving communication and coordination across the state.
According to the Governor, the registration and verification process introduced by the group would strengthen direct interaction with supporters and enhance the effectiveness of political mobilisation at the grassroots.
Governor Radda also appreciated members of the organisation for their commitment and active participation, describing their response to the mobilisation campaign as a clear demonstration of loyalty to the APC.
He urged members to remain united and continue working together for the progress of the party and the success of its candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Earlier, the Director-General of the Tinubu-Shettima Solidarity Group and member representing Mani Constituency in the Katsina State House of Assembly, Hon. Zayyana Shuaibu Bujawa, disclosed that the group had established mobilisation structures across the state’s 21 local government areas, wards and polling units.
He explained that five mobilisers, including three women, would serve in each polling unit as part of the group’s strategy to register 35,500 supporters and deliver at least 200,000 votes for the APC in Katsina State.
Bujawa announced that the registration and verification of polling-unit mobilisers had commenced across the state, assuring that the group would continue to operate peacefully while supporting the APC.
Also speaking, the group’s Women Leader commended Governor Radda for his support for women’s participation in politics, noting that the mobilisation strategy assigns three women to every polling unit, with each expected to mobilise additional supporters.
She expressed optimism that women across Katsina State would provide overwhelming support for the APC at the presidential, governorship, legislative and local government levels during the 2027 general elections.
