Government has reemphasized it’s commitment to strengthen cordial relationship with the security agencies stakeholders in the State.


The Commissioner for Religious Affairs Alhaji Ahmed Tijjani Auwal disclosed this during a familiarisation visit to some security agencies in the State.
The Commissioner stressed that, the purpose of the visit was to seek for their support especially on guided utterances of people on social media and Juma’at Imams during Juma’a sermon, adding that, Religion especially Islam in every Muslims Society is a Faith that is very sensitive and strong in the mind of the people with the belief, stressing that,” Islam has various Sects with different understanding, so one has to be very careful to avoid conflict”. Said the Commissioner.
The Commissioner then solicited for their support and Cooperation to compliment the present administration under the leadership of the Executive Governor of Kano State Abba Kabir Yusuf to move the state forward.

The Head of the Security Agencies in their separate remarks expresses gratitude to the Commissioner for extending his Familiarisation visit to their Agencies and assured him all the necessary support and Cooperation when ever the need arises and used the opportunity to Congratulate him for his appointment as a Commissioner, and wished him success through out his stay in the Office.

The Commissioner during the familiarisation tour visited Commissioner of Police Kano Command, Department of State Security Service (DSS) as well as The Comptroller of Immigration Kano Command.
