Gwarzo Education Boss Hails Community Champions as Borehole Project Transforms Learning Environment
The Education Secretary of the Gwarzo Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Malam Ashiru Lawan Kutama, has showered praise on two public-spirited community members whose landmark intervention has brought safe, clean water to hundreds of pupils and teachers in Gwarzo Local Government Area.
In a statement signed by Auwal Musa Yola Zonal Information officer Gwarzo Zone stated that, The commendation was made during an inspection visit to the newly commissioned boreholes at Government Girls’ Upper Basic School, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo a project generously facilitated by Alhaji Yusuf A. Yusuf Tabuka and Ibrahim Khalil Musa (DPM), whose shared vision of a better-educated community turned a critical need into reality.
Describing the initiative as a shining example of community partnership in action, Malam Ashiru Lawan Kutama said the project would deliver far-reaching benefits from improved sanitation and hygiene to a more dignified and conducive learning environment for both students and staff.
“This is what patriotism looks like,” the Education Secretary declared, expressing deep appreciation for the donors’ generosity and their unwavering commitment to educational advancement in Gwarzo.
He seized the occasion to issue a passionate call to action, urging other well-meaning individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organisations to follow the lead of Alhaji Tabuka and Ibrahim Khalil Musa by investing in initiatives that strengthen the education sector across the Local Government Area.
Malam Ashiru Lawan was accompanied on the inspection by Malam Shehu Garba, Head of the Social Mobilisation Unit, Gwarzo LGEA.
