RATTAWU Kano Commends DG Sunusi Bature for Repair of Union Bus

The Kano State Council of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union (RATTAWU) has commended the Director-General, Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, for facilitating the repair of the union’s official bus. The commendation was contained in a statement issued by the Chairman of RATTAWU Kano State Council, Comrade Babangida Mamuda Biyamusu.
According to Comrade Biyamusu, the union’s bus had been grounded for a considerable period due to mechanical faults, posing challenges to members in carrying out official assignments and union activities. He noted that the timely intervention by Alhaji Sunusi Bature has restored the vehicle to operational condition and significantly improved the union’s mobility.
The RATTAWU chairman described the gesture as a demonstration of support for media professionals and labour unions in the state. He expressed appreciation on behalf of members of the union, stating that the repaired bus would enhance the association’s operational efficiency and strengthen its capacity to serve members across Kano State.
Comrade Biyamusu also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for his administration’s commitment to the development of the state through the Kano First Agenda. He described the governor as a people-oriented and media-friendly leader whose policies and programmes continue to positively impact the lives of citizens.
The union reaffirmed its commitment to professionalism in the media industry and pledged to continue supporting efforts aimed at promoting public awareness of government programmes and developmental initiatives. RATTAWU further assured its readiness to contribute to the progress and development of Kano State through responsible and ethical media practice.
