Karaye Emirate Council has honoured 15 years old Ummul Khair Muhammad Sani of Chede Senior Secondary School Karaye, who emerged the overall winner in Secondary School Easy-writing Competition.

Ummul Khair Muhammad SaniĀ scored highest marks in the competition for writing the history of Karaye Emirate.
Presenting the cash gift of One Hundred Thousand Naira to the student in his palace today, the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II said, the Emirate resolved to honour the student for her intelligence and also to serve as morale boaster to other students in the Emirate.
Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II who appreciated the student’s effort also urged other students in the Emirate to always focus attention on their studies so as to obtain better results.Ā
The Emir enjoined parents to redouble effort toward supporting the education of their children in order to become productive in the society .Ā
In a separate development, the Emir of Karaye Alhaji Dr Ibrahim Abubakar II has granted approval for upgrading of Federal Polytechnic Kabo Mosque in Kabo Local Government Area to Friday Mosque status.
Presenting the request at the Emir’s Palace, District Head of Kabo Jarman Karaye Alhaji Idris Muhammad Adamu Dankabo Said, the Mosque meet all the standard requirements for Friday Mosque.
