Speaking during the flag-off ceremony, Governor Radda commended Dr. Gafia for his humanitarian gesture, describing it as a significant contribution toward alleviating hardship among vulnerable groups. The Governor, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Abdullahi Garba Faskari, recalled that the foundation had earlier provided similar assistance to over 500 vulnerable persons last year. He further assured that the state government would continue to encourage individuals and organizations working to reduce hardship among citizens.
Governor Radda also advised beneficiaries to utilize the funds judiciously to improve their livelihoods. He called on residents of the state to use the Ramadan period to pray for sustained peace, unity, and development in Katsina State and the country at large.
