KSPWB Announces Start of Hajj 2026 Visa Processing; Urges Immediate Passport Submission

The Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, has announced that the crucial visa processing phase for the Hajj 2026 pilgrimage is set to commence imminently.
During the official flag-off ceremony of the Weekly Hajj Induction Course Exercise held today at the School for Arabic Studies in Kano, Alhaji Danbappa issued an urgent call to all intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their international passports. He stressed that the submission deadline is fast approaching and that timely compliance is essential for a smooth and hitch-free visa processing operation.

“The submission of travel documents at this time is critical,” stated Alhaji Danbappa. “We are on the cusp of the visa processing period, and any delay jeopardizes the seamless coordination required for every pilgrim.”
The Director General also highlighted important updates for the upcoming pilgrimage, noting that, in accordance with Saudi Arabian authorities, Hajj visas for 2026 will be integrally linked with each pilgrim’s medical certificate and the official Nusuk platform.

In his remarks at the event, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Alhaji Yusuf Lawan, reinforced the importance of the ongoing induction courses. He urged all intending pilgrims to maintain regular attendance, emphasizing that the courses are designed to provide vital enlightenment on Hajj rites, regulations, and proper conduct.
“Consistent participation in these induction exercises is key to enhancing understanding and ensuring a spiritually rewarding and successful Hajj experience for all,” Alhaji Lawan added.
The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board reiterates its commitment to facilitating a well-organized pilgrimage and advises all intending pilgrims to act promptly to meet the stipulated deadlines.
