Radda Assures Investors, Welcomes New CNG Station in Katsina

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umar Radda, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to providing a conducive environment for investors to operate and thrive. He made this known during the groundbreaking ceremony for the proposed Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station being established by Safe Space Limited, a private firm.
Governor Radda emphasized that increased investments in Katsina State will significantly boost economic growth and create employment opportunities, particularly for the youth. He described the establishment of the CNG station as a major step towards combating the effects of climate change, adding that Katsina remains at the forefront of environmental sustainability efforts.

“We appreciate you for bringing this investment to Katsina. It will go a long way in supporting our economy and generating jobs for our youth,” the governor stated. He further assured the company of the government’s unwavering support, noting that the commitment demonstrated by Safe Space Limited is highly commendable.
Governor Radda also highlighted his administration’s investment in eco-friendly transportation, revealing that the state has already purchased CNG and hybrid buses for public use and is moving toward acquiring electric vehicles for government officials.
Earlier, the Group Managing Director of Safe Space Limited, Mr. Nazir, announced that the CNG station is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2026. He disclosed that the company also plans to establish a CNG conversion center and an electric vehicle charging station in the state.
He noted that the company chose Katsina because of its business-friendly environment and its strategic position as a gateway to the North-West region. “We are not here just for investment; we are partners in progress committed to bringing positive change to Katsina State,” he said.
The Chairman of the company, Mohammed Al-Hassan, added that Safe Space Limited will prioritize the employment of Katsina indigenes in its operations within the state
