Emir of Rano Commends NYSC Member Mr. Oladipopo for Exemplary Community Service and Educational Support

The Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru, has expressed deep appreciation to an outgoing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Mr. Kukoyi Oladipopo Elijah, for his outstanding contributions to community and educational development during his service year.
The Emir made the commendation while receiving members of the NYSC group serving at Government Secondary School, Rano, led by the school principal, Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad. The delegation visited the Emir’s palace to introduce Mr. Kukoyi, who is passing out from the scheme after successfully completing an impactful community development project.

Mr. Kukoyi, in a remarkable display of dedication and selflessness, donated his monthly allowances to provide school uniforms for 160 students, supplied textbooks to both government and private schools, and organized free extra lessons aimed at improving students’ academic performance and morale.

In his remarks, the Emir described the act as “worthy of emulation”, praising the NYSC member for his sacrifice and sense of responsibility. He urged other corps members to draw inspiration from Mr. Kukoyi’s example and prioritize community impact throughout their service.
The Emir further prayed for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon Mr. Kukoyi in his future endeavors, emphasizing that such gestures strengthen the bond between the NYSC and host communities.
Speaking to the Rano Emirate Press Secretary, Malam Nasiru Habu Faragai, after the visit, Mr. Kukoyi expressed gratitude to the Emirate Council and his host community for their support and encouragement during his service year.
