Kano State Government Announces Official Visiting Day for Boarding Schools

The Kano State Government has officially announced Saturday, November 1, 2025, as the designated Visiting Day for all boarding primary and post-primary schools, both public and private, across the state.
According to an announcement issued by Musbahu Aminu Yakasai Director Public Enlightenment Ministry of Education stated that, parents and guardians are expected to visit their children and wards between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Abubakar Makoda, expressed appreciation to parents, guardians, and stakeholders for their continued support and cooperation with the Ministry. He also extended his goodwill for a successful and hitch-free visiting exercise across all boarding schools.
“The Ministry values the partnership and understanding of parents and guardians, whose support continues to strengthen our collective efforts to improve education in Kano State,” Dr. Makoda stated.
He further emphasized the importance of strict adherence to rules and regulations guiding school visitation, noting that compliance will ensure orderliness, security, and the overall well-being of students and visitors during the exercise.
The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment in all schools and called on parents to make the most of the visiting period to interact positively with teachers and school administrators.
