FAAN HONOURS KANO STATE PILGRIMS WELFARE BOARD DIRECTOR GENERAL WITH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), through its Regional General Manager in charge of Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, Alhaji Ahmad Danjuma, has presented an Award of Excellence to the Director General of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa, in recognition of his outstanding coordination and arrangements for intending pilgrims during the last Hajj exercise.
While presenting the award, Alhaji Ahmad Danjuma commended the Director General for his exemplary leadership and organizational commitment, which greatly contributed to the smooth conduct of Hajj operations at the Kano Hajj Terminal. He noted that the recognition was part of FAAN’s efforts to acknowledge institutions and individuals who have demonstrated excellence and dedication in their service delivery.
He further urged the management of the Board to sustain its commendable performance and continue working closely with FAAN to maintain high operational standards. Danjuma also called for a collaborative effort between the Board and the Airport Authority to renovate the Hajj Terminal ahead of the forthcoming Hajj operations.
In his response, Alhaji Lamin Rabi’u Danbappa expressed deep appreciation to FAAN for the honour and assured that the Board will continue to strengthen its partnership with the Authority. He pledged to contribute meaningfully toward the renovation and improvement of the Hajj Terminal facilities to ensure better service delivery to pilgrims in future exercises.
Also speaking, the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Yusif Lawan, thanked FAAN for the recognition and visit, describing the gesture as a motivation for the Board to do even more in the service of Kano State pilgrims.
