Dala L.G. Spends N32 Million on Renovation of Hussaini Adamu School

Dala Local Government Council has completed a N32 million renovation project at Hussaini Adamu Primary and Junior Secondary School in Tsamiyar Zubau, Gobirawa Ward, significantly improving learning conditions for students.
During the commissioning, the Executive Chairman of Dala LGA, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, emotionally recounted that the school was renamed in honor of late Councillor Hussaini Adamu, who was tragically killed by Boko Haram. He described the renovation as a way to immortalize Adamu’s legacy of service.

Chairman Imam recalled that the school’s foundation was laid during the tenure of late Mahmud Sani Madakin Gini, when he (Imam) served as Vice Chairman. He expressed regret over the school’s previous dilapidated state and vowed to correct past neglect, aligning with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’seducation-focused policies.
Responding to parents’ appeals, the Chairman directed discussions with neighboring property owners for possible expansion to accommodate the growing student population. He assured that any agreements would be forwarded to the Kano State Governor for approval.

Imam urged residents to actively submit complaints and suggestions to the council, emphasizing that “this is the beauty of democratic governance—unlike military dictatorship, we listen and act on the people’s needs.” He praised Governor Yusuf for empowering local governments to execute impactful projects, a departure from past practices.
Alhaji Ali Ilu Danbazau, Chairman of the School-Based Management Committee (SBMC), thanked the council for the renovation but called for urgent action on erosion affecting the school.
-Hajiya Hadiza Lawan Naniya (Head Teacher) and Malama Fatima Tijjani (Principal) expressed deep gratitude, praying for the Chairman’s continued success.
