Emir of Rano Commissions A Global Restaurant, Advocates for Healthy Dietary Habits
His Royal Highness, the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru, has commissioned a Marsa Global Restaurant, the first of its kind in Rano town. The event marked a significant step toward promoting healthy eating and combating diet-related diseases in the region.

During the ceremony, the Emir emphasized the importance of balanced nutrition in addressing the rising cases of diabetes, hypertension, and obesity caused by poor dietary habits. He commended the establishment of the restaurant as a timely intervention to provide accessible and nutritious meals for both travelers and residents.
“The provision of such a standard restaurant will encourage healthy eating and help reduce diet-related health challenges,” the Emir stated. He also urged wealthy individuals in the area to emulate this initiative by supporting similar ventures that prioritize public health.

Ambassador Muhammad Isa Umaru further charged the restaurant’s management to adhere strictly to operational regulations to ensure quality service and better health outcomes for the community.
In his remarks, the General Manager of Marsa Global Restaurant, Malam Uzaifa Salihi, expressed gratitude to the Emir for honoring the occasion and pledged to uphold the highest standards in food safety and customer satisfaction.
In a related development, the Emir received the newly turbaned Dan Makwayon Kasar Hausa from the Kingdom of Daura, Alhaji Abdulrashid Muhammad Lawan, at his palace. The visit was to express appreciation for the honor bestowed upon him during the recent turbaning ceremony in Daura Emirate, Katsina State.
