Kano State Government has reiterated commitment to upgrade and rehabilitate Sporting facilities in the State.
The Special Adviser Youth and Sports, Amb Yusuf Imam Shu’aibu Ogan Boye made this known when he paid a familiarization visit to sports facilities in the State.
He stated that His Excellency The Executive Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf was fully committed to promote Sporting activities for the benefit of youths.
Amb. Yusuf Imam Shu’aibu Ogan Boye expressed dismay on the dilapidating condition of sporting facilities, assuring of the government’s intervention in reviving and upgrading the facilities to modern standard.
While describing the importance of sports among youths, he stressed the government intention to rehabilitate Sporting activities in the State through engaging the youths and distancing them from negative vices.
The sports facilities visited by the Special Adviser include Gwagwarwa center, Ado Bayero square, Kano Pillars stadium, Sani Abacha stadium, Indoor Sports complex and Mahaha sports complex.
