BEBEJI LOCAL GOVERNMENT LAUNCHES POLIO VACCINATION CAMPAIGN FOR CHILDREN UNDER FIVE IN DURMAWA

The Executive Chairman of Bebeji Local Government, Dr. Alhassan Salisu, represented by the Councilor of Durmawa Constituency, Hon. Isah Garba, emphasized the importance of Polio vaccination during the launch of the immunization campaign in Durmawa. He urged parents to continue bringing their children for vaccination to combat the spread of polio virus.
In his address, the District Head of Bebeji, Sarki Yusif Bayaro, commended parents for prioritizing their children’s health by participating in the vaccination exercise. He directed village heads and community leaders to intensify efforts in mobilizing support and cooperation with health workers to ensure the success of the campaign.
On his part, the Head of the Primary Healthcare Unit in Bebeji Local Government, Alhaji Mas’ud Zaiyan, assured that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure widespread coverage of the polio vaccination, aiming to eliminate the disease across the region.
Shortly after the launch, the Health Educator, Dahiru Abdu Yako, expressed gratitude to the Bebeji Local Government Chairman and the District Head for their leadership in the successful rollout of the program. He also thanked parents for their cooperation and support in ensuring the polio vaccination campaign reaches every corner of the area.
