PDP Chieftain Mustapha Inuwa Predicts Tinubu’s Defeat in 2027, Cites Economic Hardship and Planned Opposition Alliance

A prominent leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State, Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa, has declared that Nigerians will vote out President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections due to worsening economic conditions and failed policies.
Speaking at a mass gathering of PDP supporters ahead of a proposed opposition alliance, Inuwa, a former Secretary to the Katsina State Government, asserted that Tinubu’s administration has plunged citizens into unprecedented hardship, leaving them desperate for credible leadership.
“President Tinubu is the lowest-performing elected leader in Nigeria’s history. His two years in office have been a waste, with Nigerians enduring the most difficult survival crisis ever,” Inuwa stated. He condemned the administration’s handling of insecurity, rising living costs, and economic policies he claimed were “designed to enslave Nigerians.”
Inuwa revealed that the PDP is actively collaborating with other political parties to form a strong coalition capable of unseating the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027. He expressed confidence in the alliance’s growing momentum, noting widespread support from citizens and political stakeholders nationwide.
“The movement to unite opposition parties is gaining unstoppable traction. Every day, more Nigerians join this cause to rescue the nation from failed leadership,” he declared.
Former Senator Ahmed Babba Kaita, who also addressed the gathering, provided updates on merger negotiations, assuring attendees that talks would be finalized by June 20, 2024. “We are on track. With two years remaining, we are building a broad, acceptable platform to reclaim Nigeria’s future,” Kaita affirmed.
The high-profile meeting attracted former federal and state lawmakers, including disaffected APC members, signaling a potential shift in Nigeria’s political landscape.
