Defence Minister Mohammed Badaru Inspects Military Institutions in Kaduna, Reaffirms FG’s Commitment to Armed Forces Development
The Honourable Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, commenced a two-day working visit to key military institutions in Kaduna State, underscoring the Federal Government’s dedication to enhancing Nigeria’s defence infrastructure and training facilities.
During the first leg of the visit, the Minister toured the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), where he inspected ongoing construction projects, including the Centre of Excellence and the Senate Building, alongside existing facilities. He also engaged with senior officers to assess the institution’s operational and academic progress.
The Commandant of the NDA, Major General A.K. Ibrahim, provided a detailed briefing on the academy’s activities, commending the Federal Government for its sustained support in infrastructure development and resource allocation. He lauded the Honourable Minister’s leadership in driving modernization efforts within the defence sector.
In his remarks, Minister Badaru praised the NDA’s contributions to national security and human capital development, reiterating the government’s commitment to advancing the academy’s strategic goals.
